Longtime teacher to address CCS graduates

Calvary Christian High School graduates the Class of 2018 during commencement exercises slated for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1140 Rush Ave.

Senior class adviser and science teacher Richard Glink will serve as the featured speaker for the ceremony. He has taught science and math for 40 years in Logan County, including five years at Calvary Christian. 

Jonathan Michael Salmonowicz leads his class as valedictorian. He plans to attend the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he will major in math and science education.

The class salutatorian is Daniel Justin Wilt, who plans to attend Ohio Christian University to dual major in intercultural ministries and emergency disaster relief.

Pending the successful completion of requirements, the following students are set to graduate: Samuel Lawrence Jackson, Shawn Hunter Miller, Mia Alessandra Printz, Isaiah Andrew Reinhard, Nathan Tyler Reinhard, Jonathan Michael Salmonowicz, Chantel Marie Smithers, Katharine Ann Thompson, Aleesha SuEllen Watkins, Sarah Marie Wilson and Daniel Justin Wilt.
