Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were called to Village Pantry, 1138 N. Main St., at 2:50 p.m. regarding a parked vehicle in the lot.

The motorist was found passed out in the driver’s seat and slumped over the center console of the car. There were four open cans of alcohol in the car, three of which were empty.

Once awake, Damkauskas was visibly intoxicated, officers report. He was taken into custody and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
