Zanesfield Council moves ahead with road sign project

Zanesfield Village Council members approved a resolution during their Monday evening meeting for the purchase of road signs and supplies, at a cost not to exceed $500, to replace faded signs in the village.

Also during the meeting, the council was informed the zoning board vacancy has been filled by Bob Poling.

Members observed a moment of silence for Mildred “Milllie” Cushman, a long-time village resident, who passed away Feb. 24.

Officials reported that village-wide yard sales are welcomed during Memorial Day weekend, May 26 through 28, which is also the weekend of the Logan Hills Festival at the Hall-Fawcett Park. Brochures are available around the county.
