ODNR investigates shooting deaths of 4 deer

MARYSVILLE — Authorities seek information about the shooting deaths of four female deer on property owned by Honda near the intersection of Johnson and Rapp-Dean roads.

A CSX railroad worker discovered the dead deer on Dec. 4.

The Marysville Journal-Tribune reported Josh Shields, Ohio Departmetn of Natural Resources wildlife officer for Union County, speculates they were shot from the road at night.
