“It’s a great environment; something Bellefontaine has needed for quite a while,” patron Brian Baker said of the ambiance at Iron City Sports Bar, which is located at 1125 S. Main St.
“It will be a good place for people to get together for parties or for after-work entertainment. I ordered the fish and chips and, of course, we had to try the wings since they are one of the key points here. They’ve also got a nice selection of beers that rivals other establishments in town.
“I know we’ll be back,” Baker added.
While wings are a staple of the menu — being served boneless or with bone in and tossed in one of nine different sauces — other selections include seven different appetizers, a house chili and soup of the day, street tacos, three different salads and seven varieties of sandwiches. There are also vegetarian appetizers, taco options and a black bean burger as well as a children’s menu with mini corn dogs, mac and cheese, grilled cheese and chicken tenders.
And there is a wide selection of beers on tap or served in bottles as well as mixed drinks and wine.
“I love the atmosphere and the beer selection is nice,” Indian Lake resident Seth Barnes said. “It’s nice to have a different sports bar option in Bellefontaine.”
