Logan K. Herford, 26, of 8823 Lake Ave., Lakeview, was charged with criminal trespass related to an incident Saturday afternoon at a Lakeview residence.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded about 4:15 p.m. to the residence of Mike and Stephanie Zachrich, 10607 State St., Lakeview, on a report of a man who had passed out on the porch of the residence.

Mrs. Zachrich told deputies that the man, Herford, appeared to be under the influence of some substance, and was asking for “Mike” when she tried to wake him up. She offered him food and water, as he also appeared to be overheated, and she called her husband, who alerted authorities.

When deputies arrived at the home, the defendant had left the residence. He was located at a residence on Ash Street and was transported to the Logan County Jail.

• Jristian L. Humphrey, 21, of 11786 Sunburst St., Lakeview, was issued a summons for criminal trespass related to an incident Saturday.

Deputies were dispatched to 10917 County Road 275, Lakeview, about 6:20 p.m. to speak with resident Ryan Shoffner about a trespassing complaint.

Shoffner reported he had observed a male suspect riding a dirt bike on his dirt track that evening. He said he’d never give permission to the individual to be on his property.

Deputies located Humphrey, who admitted he didn’t not have permission to be on the property.
