Tony A. Daugherty, 25, of Bellefontaine, was charged Friday with criminal trespassing after he was found at 816 Heritage Court, Apt. 11. He has been banned by apartment management from the property.
Another man located in the apartment was given copy of letter banning him from the apartment complex.
Mr. Daugherty was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
Motorist faces OVI charge
Christopher J. Lowe, 25, of 8319 Indian Drive, Huntsville, was charged Thursday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and cited for driving under suspension, improper turn at an intersection, speeding and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
He was observed around 1:20 a.m. traveling at 35 mph in a 25-mph zone in the 300 block of south Main Street. An officer also observed him turn from Main onto eastbound Auburn Avenue crossing the center line and weaving in the lane.
He was stopped on Newell Street. He exited the car holding a beer bottle and denied that he was driving. A female passenger had walked from the stop to a friend’s home nearby.
Field sobriety tests indicated he was impaired and he provided a breathalyzer sample over 0.2.
He was released to a sober friend.
Man admits role in fraud
Jason M. Casto Sr., 36, at large, was charged Thursday with forgery.
He allegedly conspired with a female suspect to forge doctor’s office documents to excuse the woman from working and then sent the excuses to the Logan County Department of Job & Family Services.
When questioned, he admitted his role.
He is lodged in jail serving a failure to appear charge.
