Logan County Jail’s state inspection a success

Standards met after 200 man hours preparing for process

Logan County Jail officials were pleased to receive word this month that the 284 S. County Road 32, Bellefontaine, facility passed its 2016 state inspection with flying colors, a relief after the many hours spent readying for the process.

Assistant Jail Administrator Adam Fullerton even attended a training ahead of the Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction inspection to learn specifically how to prepare paperwork and procedural information. 

“We have probably 200 man hours between Sgt. Fullerton, myself and team of corrections employees that prepared us for the inspection,” Jail Administrator Lt. Greg Fitzpatrick said Wednesday.
