Youth leadership program kicks off

Student leaders from each county high school were at Camp Kirkmont to kick off the 2012 youth leadership program Tuesday.

Pupils in grades 10-12 took part in an Agency Fair in which the students learn about various civic agencies and organizations in Logan County.

They also worked with representatives from local agencies to work through a fictional scenario that focused on teen issues.

Impact teams comprised of juniors and seniors will assemble “emergency packs” filled with items collected from each high school. The packs will be distributed to local food banks, schools and churches.
