Members of the Rushsylvania United Methodist Church will celebrate the completion of recent renovations to the church during a dedication ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
The public is invited to rejoice with the congregation during the 9:30 a.m. worship, followed by a potluck meal at noon.
The celebration marks the completion of a $240,000 project to make the building handicap accessible, adding a wider entrance allowing easier access to the elevator lift and handicap-accessible restrooms.
Renovations were completed by Thomas and Marker Construction.
Next up is a new roof project that is expected to begin next week.
