Land stewardship was highlighted at an annual meeting Sunday by past and previous leaders of the Logan County Land Trust.

Director Randy Smith discussed with the group of landowners, farmers and conservationists the annual monitoring report used to gauge compliance with rules spelled out by each easement. The monitoring report instills integrity to the program and the wishes set forth in the easement, according to a press release submitted by Logan Soil and Water Conservation District.
