Election board clarifies mailings

Logan County Board of Elections Director Diana Gamble related to voters today that a number of entities are behind voter drives that may be causing some confusion among local residents.

Mass mailings have been generated by Secretary of State John Husted regarding absentee voting, which begins Oct. 2. Additionally, numerous groups are sending out information on voter registration that may lead voters to think they are not registered when they are. Local officials note that no mailings have come from their office.
