In addition to regular housekeeping, the Logan County Board of Elections reviewed state directives concerning the November election and made updates to in-house security policies during a recent meeting.
The board also approved the ballot order and ES&S/Barrett Brothers for ballot printing at 23 cents per ballot, with the number of ballots needed yet to be determined.
Residents are reminded that the deadline to register to vote is Oct. 9, with the local office open until 9 p.m. All boards of elections will be closed Monday, Oct. 8, for a state holiday. Voters may begin requesting and vote absentee or provisional ballots beginning Oct. 10.
Local registered voters may now make address changes via online registration forms at electionsonthe.net/oh/logan.
All county boards of elections will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 2-5, 10-12 and 15-19; 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 9; 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 22-26 and Oct. 29-Nov. 1; and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2.
