Fire damages van

Firefighters of the Bellefontaine Fire and EMS Department responded to a 3:25 p.m. Monday van fire in the parking lot of Wal-Mart, 2281 S. Main St.

The owner of the 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan is Jane Faber of Bellefontaine, according to fire reports. The fire started in the engine compartment and caused $8,000 damage.
