POLICE BEAT: City man arrested on warrants

After he was found laying inebriated in an apartment driveway at 348 E. Sandusky Ave. Friday afternoon, Bellefontaine Police arrested Christopher Gault, 41, at large, on two outstanding warrants for disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing and lodged him in the Logan County Jail.

He also was served a summons for passing bad checks.

• Terry Allen Webb, 48, of 400 N. Main St., was arrested just before 10 p.m. Saturday after he became combative with staff during treatment at Mary Rutan Hospital.
For his own safety, Mr. Webb was charged with pubic intoxication and lodged in jail.

• Officers are investigating the theft of about 200 DVDs taken some time overnight Aug. 26 from a commons area of an apartment building at 120 W. Brown Ave., as reported by Amanda Campbell of that address.

• Police served a pair of summonses Friday to Cathy D. LeVan, 62, of 720 E. Columbus Ave., on two counts of passing bad checks.
