Two separate outages affected electrical service to more than 4,000 Dayton Power & Light Co. customers over the weekend.
Service was restored within hours of each outage.
The first event occurred around 4:25 p.m. Saturday when a large tree came down on a branch line in the Bellefontaine area.
It affected 784 customers immediately, while an additional 288 customers were taken out of service around 5:55 p.m. so crews could safely remove the tree and make repairs.
By 9:33 p.m., service was restored to all customers.
The second event, related to equipment issues, occurred around 12:45 a.m. Sunday affecting 3,036 customers in the Indian Lake area. Service was restored to 699 customers by 1:52 a.m., another 2,189 at 4:16 a.m. and the remaining 148 at 4:58 a.m., according to DP&L officials.
