Injuries reported in early morning crash

John D. Simcox, 54, of Bellefontaine, was transported by Riverside squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for non-incapacitating injuries sustained in crash early Wednesday.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report that Mr. Simcox was operating a southbound car on County Road 31 about 12:35 a.m. when he drove through the T-intersection of Township Road 30 and then struck a ditch and a concrete pillar.

Damage was disabling to his vehicle. Investigation continues into the crash.
