Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report that one adult and two juveniles were arrested Wednesday morning at Veterans Memorial Park in West Mansfield after they allegedly stole a pickup from a Bellefontaine residence.

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department received a stolen vehicle reported from Offitt Harless, 348 Penny Lane, about 6:20 a.m. Wednesday morning. Mr. Harless said his 2003 Dodge Ram pickup had been stolen from his driveway.

Troopers spotted the stolen pickup at the West Mansfield park at 8:13 a.m., and assistance was requested from deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office at the scene.

Michael A. Cunningham, 20, of Bellefontaine, was arrested without incident, along with two juveniles, ages 16 and 17.

During interviews with law enforcement, the three suspects also indicated that they had participated in vehicle break-ins in the Bellefontaine area overnight. Information was forwarded to the Bellefontaine Police Department about the possible break-ins.
