Joseph Borkosky, 22, of Vanlue, was injured today in a 5:50 a.m. traffic crash Thursday on U.S. Route 68 north of County Road 111, troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
He was southbound in a pickup truck, fell asleep and lost control of his vehicle.
It traveled off the right side of the road, through a fence and hit a tree. It then rolled several times.
Mr. Borkosky was transported by a Rushsylvania squad to Mary Rutan Hospital and then by helicopter to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for treatment of a neck injury.
He was cited for failure to control and improper use of a safety belt. Troopers report he was using he lap belt but had the shoulder belt behind his back.
