Dog owner cited after bicycle injury accident

Vicki L. Predmore, 56, of 11752 Township Road 52, Lewistown, was issued a summons for dogs at large Tuesday following an injury accident involving a bicyclist Aug. 9.

Deputies responded to 11752 T.R. 52 about 9:30 a.m. Aug. 9 on a report of a woman who had fallen off of a bicycle after a dog came out of a yard and struck the bicycle.

The bicyclist, Marianne Antram, 58, of Lewistown, had sustained a head and arm injury as a result of the fall. She was transported by squad to Mary Rutan Hospital, and then later was transferred to the OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

Deputies spoke with Mrs. Antram following the accident, and she described the dog involved in the incident as a boxer. Ms. Predmore said she was not at home Aug. 9, but the description matched her dog and she was issued the summons.
