Levon M. Tudor-Versele, 22, of 1054 Heritage Court, was charged Thursday with domestic violence.

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report the suspect choked his 14-year-old brother, Cavan Banks, after the teen told him their mother, Linda I. Jahnigen wanted the suspect to move out around 2:15 p.m.

Cavan said he was thrown into a bedroom and hit his head on the door.

The suspect was lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Charge filed in neighbor dispute

Anthony T. Johnson, 29, of 513 Cooper Ave., was charged with disorderly conduct after a confrontation with a neighbor Wednesday.

He reportedly charged out of his house after Daniel Ferrell, 509 Cooper Ave., moved Mr. Johnson’s garden hose from a driveway.

Mr. Ferrell called police on a cellular phone early in the confrontation and held it up to Mr. Johnson’s face. Mr. Johnson in turn knocked it from Mr. Ferrell’s hands.

Officers report the phone was undamaged and issued Mr. Johnson a summons.
