Three stopped at Wal-Mart

Kelly L. Stover, 30, of 312 N. Detroit St., and Brittany N. Blakeman Monroe, 26, of 308 N. Elm St., each was charged with criminal trespassing and theft around 5 p.m. Wednesday at Wal-Mart, 2281 S. Main St.







Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report the two tried to leave the store with a stolen cellular phone and clothing.

The male and female suspects were confronted and they both ran from the store in opposite directions. Ms. Monroe threw a bag of clothing and was quickly caught.

Mr. Stover also was apprehended in the parking lot.

Both were told in the past to stay out of the store.

Both were lodged in the Logan County Jail.

• Kelci Rhea Wehinger, 18, of Kenton, was charged with theft and underage consumption of alcohol around 7:55 a.m. Wednesday.

She was stopped at Wal-Mart trying to leave with under garments, pens, compact discs and other merchandise, totaling more than $150.

Officers noticed an odor of alcohol on her as they talked with her.

She was lodged in jail.
