Hot Summer Nights Cruise-In, ‘Route 66’ performance rev up downtown

The streets of downtown Bellefontaine once again will be filled with roars of automobile engines Saturday as the Top of Ohio Cruisers Club and Holland Theatre kick off the 15th annual Hot Summer Nights Cruise-In.
Hundreds of the area’s finest classic cruisers are expected to converge on the city for the cruise-in, said Darin Robinaugh, president of the local car club.
“It’s supposed to be nice weather and that always helps out,” he said, noting that last year’s event drew 350 automobiles. “A lot of people wait until the day of the event to decide, but I’d be happy with another 300 cars.”
