Norro Perdue, 42, of 128 Plumvalley St., was arrested Wednesday for assault, persistent disorderly conduct and two counts of menacing.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were called to his residence around 8:40 p.m. It was the second time they were called to the area.
The defendant was reportedly fighting with his neighbor, Chris Mundy. He also allegedly threatened Mr. Mundy.
Officers arrested the suspect and transported him to the Logan County Jail. While en route, he repeatedly threatened the officers.
Inside the jail garage, he resisted officers and kicked one in the knee. He again threatened them.
In a 3:30 p.m. incident, the suspect and Mr. Mundy, 33, of 504 W. Chillicothe Ave., each was charged with disorderly conduct after a fight.
