New program director announced at Discovery Riders



Adam Judd, a graduate of Slippery Rock University, has been named the new program director at Discovery Riders, 5850 State Route 292, East Liberty.

He received a degree in therapeutic recreation with an emphasis on adaptive sports in 2010 and is a certified therapeutic specialist. 

Mr. Judd is also a certified Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship instructor which enables him to instruct individuals with special needs at Discovery Riders.

Born and raised in northeast Ohio, Mr. Judd started taking riding lessons at the age of eight and has been around horses since.

Mr. Judd rides western style, competing in reining and tea penning and has had the opportunity to take dressage and polo lessons.

Mr. Judd’s responsibilities will include quality assurance of existing programs and new program development.
