Two people were transported to Mary Rutan Hospital for non-incapacitating injuries following a two-vehicle crash about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on County Road 130.
Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report Dakota Babyak, 18, of Huntsville, was operating a northbound car near Township Road 56 when he drove off the right side of the road and overcorrected and then struck a southbound car.
The second car, operated by Linda Lyburtus, 60, of Bellefontaine, then went off the right side of the road and struck a telephone junction box and came to rest against a tree.
Ms. Lyburtus was transported by Bellefontaine EMS to the hospital. A passenger in the Lyburtus vehicle, Dyson Williams, 14, of Bellefontaine, was transported by Indian Lake EMS to the hospital. Mr. Babyak did not report any injuries.
Damage was disabling to both vehicles. Mr. Babyak was cited for failure to control.
