Sex offender sentenced to prison



A sex offender was sentenced to prison this week in Logan County Common Pleas Court.

Benjamin Miller, 39, of Mingo, was sentenced to three years in prison and five years’ post-release control for gross sexual imposition.

He was also classified as a Tier II sexual offender that requires him to register his address with law enforcement every six months for 25 years.





Also sentenced was Seth Mermann, 21, of Kenton: 94 days’ time served in Logan County Jail, five years’ community control and ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs, attorney fees and restitution for public indecency. SEE STORY: Man jailed after lewd conduct at store

Autumn Biddle, 34, of Kentucky, pleaded guilty to illegal conveyance of a drug into a detention facility and failure to appear. A presentence investigation was ordered and she will be sentenced Aug. 4.
