Repeat drug dealer pleads guilty to trafficking

A defendant pleaded guilty to drug-related charges earlier this week in Logan County Common Pleas Court.

Marcus Tabler, 30, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in drugs, and will be sentenced Aug. 4.

Also pleading guilty this week were:

Edwin Guiles, 34, of Bellefontaine: trafficking in drugs and possession of drugs; Linda Sadler, 54, of Lewistown: theft; and Andrew Walters, 30, of Urbana: theft. Presentence investigations were ordered and the defendants will be sentenced July 28; and

• Damione Pernell, 21, of Bellefontaine: trafficking drugs. He was granted intervention in lieu of conviction, which requires him to complete drug and alcohol counseling and three years’ intensive supervision.

Sentenced were:

Craig Webster, 38, of Springfield: 18 months in prison for possession of drugs and a community control violation; and

John Clary, 23, of Bellefontaine: 10 months in prison for trafficking in drugs.
