The major items funded by the campaign are scholarships for more than 200 local youths, adults and families who cannot afford the cost of a full Y membership.
Other programs include: a reduced summer camp rate for families who cannot afford full program fees, WIC Mommy and Me swim classes offered free to children ages 3 and younger enrolled in WIC, Board of Developmental Disabilities Rock-N-Fit classes, free exercise classes offered at three senior facilities and monthly water aerobics classes for Recovery Zone members.
