Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department and Bellefontaine squad personnel responded Thursday evening to 212 1⁄2 E. Sandusky Ave. on a report of an unresponsive man.
Officers arrived and paramedics were already upstairs with resident Kyle Westerman, 48, who was now breathing.
He was taken to Mary Rutan Hospital for further treatment.
Police reported finding a blue bin with drug equipment including a hypodermic needle and pipe commonly used to smoke crack cocaine.
