A flurry of activity on west Columbus Avenue will see the downtown Bellefontaine street become a hub for antique shoppers.
The Olde Mint Antique Mall, now located at 135 W. Columbus Ave., is one of four new antique and resale businesses locating downtown.

Two new businesses have opened in time for Friday’s Customer Appreciation Day that will draw shoppers downtown, and two others are expected to be open by the end of June.
The Olde Mint Antique Mall has moved into 135 W. Columbus and RevIval Clothing Resale has opened at 111 W. Columbus. A new antique toy store prepares to open at 117 W. Columbus and Autumn Years antiques prepares to reopen at 120 W. Columbus.
“I think we will all complement each other,” said Jeff Patterson, who will open Treasures: A Wrinkle of Time antique toy store with his wife, Donna.
“The more dealers you have in one place, the more attractive it is for ‘antiquers’ who will travel to find what they’re looking for. Hopefully, it will be a benefit to us all.”
