Nine Mac-A-Cheek students in grades third through sixth were able to lend a hand at Camp Kirkmont on Wednesday.

The student’s goal was to give their service to Camp Kirkmont by cleaning out a patio on Goodrich Lodge.
“It gives them a good sense of helping someone out,” said teacher, Robyn Wunderle. “We just came to work.”
After they cleaned out the patio, the students were then allowed to go on a nature hike, roast hot dogs and marshmallows over a fire, go fishing and canoeing.
