A Fight for a Cure cruise-in and fly-in beneift was hosted Saturday at Bellefontaine Regional Airport for Kandy Jacobs of Rushsylvania, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in August and is currently undergoing treatment. While weather forecasts early Saturday prevented aviators from flying in, 40 classic automobiles were on display. Mrs. Jacobs said she was amazed by “the support from family, friends and all the prayer warriors who lift (her) up every time (she’s) down.” ABOVE: Mrs. Jacobs is hugged by Derek Greene; BELOW: Rushsylvania area youths Kaleb Craig, 6, left, and Gage Hamm, 8, toss beanbags at one another instead of at the corn hole targets; FRONT PAGE PHOTO: Landen True, 4, of Bellefontaine, points from atop the shoulders of his father Justin True at a 1948 Studebaker pickup truck owned by Top of Ohio Cruisers Club member Jeff Skaggs.
