Amendment to local fair constitution proposed
Starting this year, fair attendees exiting the fairground with plans to re-enter will no longer have their hands stamped.
Instead, wristbands will be distributed to anyone leaving the fair with plans to return later that day, according to action taken Wednesday during a regular meeting of the Logan County Fair Board.
There will be a different colored wristband for each day of the fair, and those people running the different gates will be instructed to check closely for potential tampering, board members said.
