Calvary Christian students complete volunteer work at Marmon Valley Farm

Calvary Christian High School sophomores recently completed a week of volunteer work at Marmon Valley Farm near Zanesfield to assist the facility with preparations for the summer.

Pupils arrived at Marmon Valley Farm each morning, and worked until about 3 p.m. each day, putting in about 300 hours of work between each of the students.

Boys from the class assisted with the remodeling of the office area, including installing flooring and sanding and staining trim. Some of the other boys helped in the sheep barn to install insulation, fix beds, put up walls and dig a ditch to fix a drainage system.
