Ridgemont Board of Education members approved at a special meeting Tuesday evening a project to repair the existing HVAC system at the junior high and high school facility in Ridgeway.
Based upon the Ohio Cooperative Purchasing Program state term contract, TP Mechanical was issued a $222,500 contract to complete a one-to-one replacement of current HVAC systems, which have lasted beyond their life expectancies.
In addition, TP Mechanical has offered the district the option to complete the exhaust fan check out and prepare a quote for repair for $795.
The repairs will take place for the section of the building that will remain after students move into the new pre-K through 12 building that is under construction near Mt. Victory.
