Tyler C. Elliott, 23, of West Mansfield, was transported by Tri-Valley squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for incapacitating injuries sustained in a one-vehicle crash about 1:55 a.m. Saturday.
He reportedly was operating an eastbound car on State Route 47 just east of County Road 230 when he drove off the right side of the road, and then went back onto the road and drove off the left side, and struck several trees.
Damage was heavy to his vehicle. The driver was wearing his seat belt.
Mr. Elliott has been cited for failure to control and the crash remains under investigation.
• Scott D. McMillen, 21, of Belle Center, was transported by private vehicle to Mary Rutan Hospital following a crash about 7:40 p.m. Friday.
He reportedly was operating a car on Dowell Avenue at State Route 47 and stopped at the stop sign. He then drove into the path of a westbound car operated by Marion K. Henry, 83, of West Mansfield.
Mr. Henry and his passenger did not report any injuries. Damage was heavy to both cars.
Mr. McMillen was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign.
