Police department presents fraud prevention program

The Bellefontaine Police Department hosts a fraud and identity theft awareness program at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at Campbell Place, formerly the Campbell House, 356 Kent Drive.

Adults ages 55 and older and their family members are invited to attend the event to learn how to avoid being the victim of fraud. Detective Dwight Salyer and Officer Greg VanBuskirk will speak about fraud, identity theft, the latest scams, how to freeze your credit report and will offer a question and answer session.
