EverPower Wind Holdings, which has proposed two local projects, has bought a wind development in Illinois, making the nation’s 18th largest wind energy generator.
Company officials announced that EverPower, which is owned by the British private equity firm Terra Firma, has bought the Big Sky Wind Farm located in Bureau and Lee counties, Illinois, about 95 miles west of Chicago, from Suzlon Energy.
