Caring Hearts of Ohio hosts an overnight retreat April 26 and 27 at Marmon Valley Farms, 7754 State Route 292, designed for teenagers who have suffered the loss of someone close to them.
The retreat is for any teenager grieving the loss of a sibling, parent or friend, and is intended to help teens work through their grief and understand they are not alone.
Activities during the overnight retreat include horseback riding, a challenge course, campfire and movie time and conclude with a service of remembrance.
The retreat is free to teenagers.
Caring Hearts of Ohio is the not-for-profit, fundraising arm of Universal Home Health and Hospice Care.
Guidance counselors in Logan County schools have registration forms available to them.
