NEG auction raised about $90,000

Several hundred people packed the area surrounding the Bellefontaine Armory to bid on items ranging from chain saws to mini vans. Proceeds from the auction are to be filtered back through the state and federal government. Logan County received about $1.2 million in federal grant funding to clean up debris leftover from windstorms in 2012. Work was also in process to clear the Great Miami River from the spillway at Russells Point through the village of DeGraff.
