Michael L. Himmeger, 27, of 2765 County Road 55, Bellefontaine, was charged with two counts of domestic violence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at his residence Monday afternoon.
Deputies responded to his home about 3:30 p.m. on a report of a domestic dispute. When they arrived, they walked into the garage area and observed an odor of burnt marijuana. A pipe with marijuana inside it and a baggie of marijuana were located in the garage.
Deputies spoke with his live-in girlfriend, Megan Mendenhall, 24, who reported that she had been in an argument with the defendant that had become physical.
Mr. Himmeger’s mother, Tami Himmeger, 53, also of that address, became involved in the argument, and she said that her son put her in a headlock.
The defendant also had tried to leave the residence in his mother’s vehicle, but his mother didn’t let him because he doesn’t have a driver’s license. He was transported to the Logan County Jail.
