Entrants sought for parade and festivities

With the reopening of the Logan County History Center and its new transportation museum addition less than a month away, organizers are laying plans for a grand opening parade and festivities.
And owners of historically-significant modes of transportation or other businesses or individuals with ideas for unique transportation-themed floats are encouraged to contact the Logan County Historical Society with their ideas.
“We are hoping area businesses, organizations, schools and other groups will help make this parade one to remember by creating floats based on Logan County’s rich transportation history,” History Center Curator Todd McCormick said in an email.
