Injury crashes reported

Tesia M. Deardurff, 16, of Belle Center, was transported by Rushcreek squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for non-incapacitating injuries sustained in a crash about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies report she was operating an eastbound minivan on Township Road 51 when she stopped at the stop sign at U.S. Route 68. She then proceeded into the intersection and was struck in the side by a northbound station wagon operated by Allison N. Hall, 18, of Springfield.

The impact forced the minivan to overturn onto its top.

Ms. Hall did not report any injuries, and a passenger in the minivan, Cameron R. Deardurff, 11, of Belle Center, was checked at the scene by Rushcreek EMS members.

Tesia was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign. Damage was disabling to the minivan and moderate to the station wagon.

• Michael C. Lensman, 17, of Lakeview, was transported by private vehicle to Mary Rutan Hospital for possible injuries sustained in a crash about 4:20 p.m. Saturday.

He reportedly was operating a northbound car on State Route 117 just north of County Road 38 when he drove off the right side of the road and struck a telephone pole.

Damage to his car was disabling. He was cited for failure to control.

• Deputies also responded to a one-vehicle injury crash about 3:10 p.m. Saturday on State Route 274 near County Road 25.

Miranda Bodine, 19, of Mt. Victory, reportedly was operating a westbound car when she drove off the left side of the road and struck a tree stump and her vehicle overturned.

She was transported by Rushcreek squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for non-incapacitating injuries. The driver was cited for failure to control and was issued a seat belt violation. Damage to her car was disabling.
