Possible injuries reported in rollover crash

Josiah A. Snyder, 20, of Belle Center, was transported by BMRT squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for possible injuries sustained in a crash about 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report he was operating a northbound van on State Route 638 near County Road 106 when he drove off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned.

Damage to the van was heavy, and the driver was wearing his seat belt. He was cited for failure to control.

• Sara A. Poole, 28, of Bellefontaine, and her 1-year-old passenger, were transported by Bellefontaine squad to Mary Rutan Hospital for possible injuries following a two-vehicle crash about 2 p.m. Wednesday.

She reportedly was operating a westbound car on County Road 11 just west of Troy Road when her vehicle went left of center and struck an eastbound pickup head-on. The pickup was operated by David M. Lyons, 51, of Bellefontaine.

Mr. Lyons did not report any injuries. Damage was heavy to the car and moderate to the pickup. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, and the child was restrained in a child restraint system.  

Ms. Poole was cited for failure to control.
