Christian C. Wallace, 18, of 816 Heritage Court, Apt. 5, was charged today with domestic violence, endangering children, unlawful restraint, possessing a defaced firearm and having weapons under disability.

Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were called to the apartment complex around 4:30 a.m. and met with Raven Feasel who had escaped with her eight-month-old daughter to a neighboring apartment.

She told officers she came home from work at 1:30 a.m. to find the apartment in disarray with dog feces on the floor. She confronted the defendant who was playing video games.

He began to shove her and insult her, telling her to get out of the apartment. She was trying to call for a ride when he grabbed her cellular phone and threw it on the floor. When she tried to leave, he blocked her way out.

She finally got out and went next door.

The suspect had left, but returned soaking wet from being in the rain.

He was arrested and struggled with officers, falling to his knees, struggling with officers and yelling as they took him to a cruiser.

Once inside, he began slamming his head into the cage of the cruiser to claim police brutality.

He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.

A search of the apartment turned up a .22-caliber handgun with the serial number filed off. The defendant has a prior felony conviction.
