Lamb and wool queen, princess named

A long-time supporter of market lambs and local agriculture was recognized and lamb royalty was crowned Thursday during the annual banquet of the Logan County Sheep Improvement Association.
Logan County Commissioner John Bayliss presented Tim Lyden with an honorary membership in the county sheep association.
For years it’s been Mr. Lyden presenting plaques of honorary membership, as he’s been the master of ceremonies for the sheep banquet for many years.
Mr. Lyden was the emcee for this year’s banquet, too, but was also recognized for his contributions to the sheep industry.
