Task force intercepts marijuana shipment

Mark E. Bible, 42, of 816 Sugarbush Court, faces a fifth-degree felony count of possession of marijuana as part of investigation by detectives with the Logan County Joint Drug Task Force.

The Logan County Prosecutor’s Office filed the charge Monday as Mr. Bible reportedly paid for the illicit drugs.

During the investigation, a package containing two pounds of marijuana was seized in California based on information developed by the task force. The package was en route to Mr. Bible’s residence for which detectives obtained a search warrant.

It was served Wednesday and one ounce of marijuana was recovered along with a packing slip from a November shipment.
