Brandon C. Bowman and Zachary Pfeiffer, each 19, and of Ft. Wayne, each was charged with two felony counts of theft and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia and were lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Deputies responded to the ski resort about 8:25 p.m. in reference to a theft of snowboards.

The vehicle was towed from the scene, and then a short time later, the two defendants reported to the ski resort office that their vehicle had been towed.

Mr. Bowman and Mr. Pfeiffer were transported to the sheriff’s office, where they were questioned by deputies. The pair reportedly had taken a total of eight snowboards over a two-day period.

Five of the snowboards were recovered in their vehicle, and the remaining three snowboards were located at a residence in Ft. Wayne. Deputies are in the process of returning the stolen snowboards to their owners.
