Legion hosts public weekend meals

The Sons of American Legion Post 173 host a public benefit meal from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the 120 Colton Ave., Legion post home.

Proceeds from the $11 pork chop meal benefit the group’s scholarship fund.

The Legion’s honor guard hosts a benefit “made-to-order” public breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, featuring such menu items as eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy and biscuits, and pancakes, and much more, along with coffee and juice.

The costs range from $6 to $8, depending on choices.
